Lots of references to the other two music videos:
Jumping into the water - as a release
The Cafe at the end, Noel was still the star in text, but again shown as god like figure (white costume), as well as the Vicar, as well as breaking away from being the star in text towards the end.
It also has intertexual reference to fairytales, and films, such as Indiana Jones/western. Also the gothic band were there, and the horse also reminded us of the the other music video.
It also had a collection of cut together film at the start, which is similar to the music video we analysed before, the owl was also there again. Also the Alice in Wonderland reference was shown, with the mother character wearing a blue dress.
The neighbourhood shown, was very middle class, but the main character, the western Indiana Jones character was not middle class, shown by costume and behaviour, showing a range of classes, which appeals to a wider audience, also the man sitting on the porch is working class, shown by his costume. There was a shot of a statue, then of the woman, showing she is statue like, because there is a strong religious representation throughout, this could mean people are in total ore of her, and pray to her.
The shots of the Indiana Jones character, are close ups, showing he has a lot of power, he also has the most screen time.
In the ending, Noel is show in walking to the same Cafe, show in the previous music videos, making it an important shot, and perhaps it will be important in the next music video, as well a the 'Last Chance' sign being shown again.
